The work that Brian did was done very well. He really seems to know alot. So far we are very pleased with the changes he made to our wireless router so that my husband gets better response in his office. I fixed the printer problem. The only item that Brian has to look at is why the volume on the new desktop is barely audible. I checked all I could but can't figure it out. He was also helpful about how to speed up one of our PC's (an older one - he said a low RAM and he could install it if we wanted to). He also made me feel comfortable that if we chose to go that route, we would not then be hit with adding an updated this and that. I still have to talk with my husband about it, but for now it is running much better after his work.

Where do I start with regard to His professionalism?, let's just say - 1. He answered his phone on a Saturday morning, in fact he answers it pretty much anytime you call! (RETURNS CALLS PROMPTLY) 2. We discussed an entire household system for our family and the boys in a matter of minutes, he made his recommendations, and is scheduled to be at my house at 10:00 tommorow! (ASSESSES THE NEEDS OF THE CLIENT, MAKES A PROPOSAL ON THE EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE REQUIRED, SETS A DATE TO INSTALL IT WITHIN SEVERAL DAYS) I am confident that tomorrow I will be able to say that he installed it all properly, it's up and working perfectly, and he answered every single question I had about the system and probably will troubleshoot my computers so they run smoothly and efficiently. Thank you for sending him to my house to put our computer systems in order, my boys will be thrilled to have their own systems at last (one less argument for me to have to manage) and they will be able to use educational software and websites that are safe (Brian mentioned installing Canine), a parents tech wish come true. I thought Jonathan was terrific. When those scans completed, our newer computer had a message from Norton Anti-virus that the computer had an infection (although I haven't seen that message again since); and the older computer had a message from bitdefenders that it was unable to celar all viruses. I seem to recall there were maybe six infections listed. If Jonathan can come out at some point and take one more stab at removing ALL viruses, that would be greatly appreciated. Mike was here, early even, and did a great job. Most of our pop up problems had already been solved by my husband through using Adware. Mike made sure it was all clear. Then he realized a problem my son and husband had discovered. Our C drive has a small amount of storage yet we have a D drive with plenty. Mike said he will come back to get our computer to combine the two so we have a good amount of storage on our C drive. In the meantime, he cleaned up our C drive as much as possible. Mike also downloaded Picasa and taught me how to use my scanner. I don't know if I'll have time to scan pictures on to a CD/DVD to play Saturday for my daughters graduation but I'm gunna try. Then he got us up on wireless and helped with my son's video game. Thank you for sending us Mike. We now have a friend in the high tech world. We'll be in touch for storage combining and for more info on scanning my 20 years of negatives. Thanks again.

He helped us to clear up a few of our desk top issues, then spoke with Dell techs for us, pinned down the problem, and we received a new memory today. Since this is our third major problem with the new desk top ( purchased 3/07 ), I raised hell and Dell says they have a new computer on the way for us. It should arrive next week. Once we get that, we will assess the situation, and determine what we need to remove from the old computer and place on the new computer, ie: we may have to remove Vista, replace it with XP. We will probably need Jonathans assistance at that time. Both computers are able to print at this time. However, I guess you forgot to tell him to bring the other print mechanism, so we are printing the traditional way, ie: the desk top must be on for the lap top to print. We will contact you to get Jonathans assistance once we receive the new computer.Maybe we can get the printer attachment installed at that time.

Alex was great. He helped out with several issues on our Macbook and had excellent advice. He was able to drag and drop the parallels VHDD directory structure onto the Macbook desktop and then copy that to our new Windows Virtual desktop. A lot of the file names in the directory structure had been altered with .tmp, those could just be duplicates. So far so good. I certainly hope to never see a virus like that again.
